A very proud day for Volucris.
Today we ran Cola and Charlie in a Novice AV Spaniel Field Trial.
🥉 Cola, aged 23 months — third place.
🏅 Charlie, aged just 15 months — fourth place.
Today, both became Field Trial Award Winners.
We’ve shared their preparation: building foundations, developing hunting, establishing steadiness and working on game. Today was an opportunity to see how that training stood up under competition conditions.
For those who have followed Charlie’s journey from eight weeks old, this is another special chapter. From those first foundations at Thoresby to a Field Trial Award at 15 months.
There is still plenty to develop with both dogs, but today we’re taking a moment to appreciate what they’ve achieved.
The training continues. Today, we celebrate.
