Volucris Membership
More opportunities to train. A clearer path to the field.
Volucris membership is for handlers who want to keep developing their working spaniel or retriever. Whether your goal is a dependable dog on a shoot, picking up, beating, working tests, scurries or trials, membership gives you more ways to train with purpose throughout the year.
For £30 per year, you’ll gain priority access to training, exclusive member sessions, member rates and a community of handlers working towards similar goals.

What’s included?
Priority access to training
Popular classes, workshops and training days can fill quickly. Members hear about opportunities first and have priority access when places are released, giving you a better chance to plan the next stage of your dog’s training.
Member-only classes, workshops and training days
Access sessions created specifically for our members. These give us room to develop skills over time, revisit what needs work and take training into more demanding environments as dogs progress.
Sessions may cover hunting, retrieving, steadiness, water, cover, game and preparation for working in the field. The focus is always on what the dog and handler need next.
Member discounts on training
Members receive preferential rates on eligible training. If you train regularly, the membership fee can quickly become a worthwhile part of your investment in your dog’s development.
Member-only training content
Training continues between sessions. Members have access to additional content that explains the skills we teach, why they matter and how to keep building them at home and in the field.
Private Facebook and WhatsApp groups
Join a community of Volucris handlers. Our member groups are a place for training updates, shared progress, practical discussion and staying informed about upcoming opportunities.
Member-only 1-to-1 Development Package
Some dogs and handlers benefit from focused individual work alongside their group training. Members can access our block-booked 1-to-1 Development Package, giving you dedicated time to address specific goals and build continuity across sessions.
Training with a purpose
Membership is about more than booking a place. It brings you closer to a structured training pathway, from early foundations through to the skills a dog needs to work reliably in the field.
At Volucris, we specialise in working spaniels and retrievers. We train on Thoresby Estate and build skills progressively across the ground, cover and situations that working dogs will encounter. We’ll support your progress, challenge you when you’re ready and be honest about what needs more work.
Join for £30 per year
Membership costs £30 annually. Training sessions and the 1-to-1 Development Package are booked and paid for separately; member rates apply where advertised. Places remain subject to availability, and some sessions have skill requirements to ensure each dog is ready for the work.
If you’re ready to make consistent progress with your working spaniel or retriever, we’d be pleased to welcome you.
