1-to-1 Training at Volucris: A Focus on Development
Volucris will no longer offer standalone 1-to-1 sessions to new clients.
Effective gundog training is rarely achieved in a single session. Meaningful development requires continuity, practice between sessions and a clear understanding of where each dog and handler are working towards.
For handlers already following the Volucris training pathway, individual sessions will remain available to complement group training, address specific areas and support continued progression.
New clients seeking individual training will be asked to make a greater commitment to their dog’s development through a structured programme of sessions. This allows us to assess the partnership properly, establish clear goals and build a progressive training plan rather than treating one isolated issue on one isolated day.
Our revised 1-to-1 prices also reflect the experience of our trainers and the investment Volucris continues to make in specialist equipment, facilities and training opportunities across Thoresby Estate:
1-to-1 with Mark — £70 per hour
1-to-1 with Paul — £65 per hour
Members — £60 per hour
Our focus remains the same: purposeful progression that develops capable, dependable working spaniels and retrievers.
